The project is a sensory-friendly residence for a family with an autistic child, sited at Pine Glades Lake on the edge of the Everglades.

Clear circulation, deliberate sensory zoning, and calming transition spaces work to reduce sensory overload while still supporting social engagement and everyday learning.

The house leans on its relationship to the surrounding wetland landscape — framed views, filtered light, natural materials — to hold that supportive, low-stimulus atmosphere throughout.
