The assignment asked for a public space, a loggia, considered through its relationship to the surrounding civic fabric: shared seating, informal gathering, and a sense of civic weight.

The concept works sunlight across three levels — an enclosed ground floor for midday shade, a second level opened west to catch sunset light, and a terrace above for night sky views and sightlines across the surrounding city.

Daylighting, circulation, a rhythm of solid and void, and cross ventilation through placed openings all developed together rather than as separate design moves.
